We removed two walls in the kitchen to create an open floor plan. We added an accent island in the kitchen with eat-in seating as well as replaced the tile floor and gave it a fresh coat of paint to finish the room. We added engineered hardwood to the rest of the living areas. We also completed a remodel of the master bath. We started to enlarge the bath by stealing a small amount of square footage from the closet and repositioning the fixtures to maximize the space. We installed a walk-in shower with a frameless glass wall, added a new vanity with wallpaper backsplash, and added a linen closet.
